Almost...

I'm so happy that I'm almost 1 whole year old!


I continue to ponder what I want for my birthday...

Hmmm...

Nana took me shopping and I certainly think that an automobile would be quite fun...


All I know is that my hair keeps thinking it's party time and I still have 2 more weeks to go.

Will you come celebrate with me and my hair?

Pretty Cool

A couple weeks ago, my mom stopped me in my fast-moving tracks to tell me we were going to Kentucky...

Uh, mom, I thought...


Don't you think I'm a little too cool for Kentucky?

Kentucky wasn't so bad. Mom & Dad took me to the Louisville Slugger museum.


I got to see bats getting made,


and Dad got to touch Micky Mouse-er-something-o's bat.


That's me with my dad in front of the biggest bat ever!


I even got a Porter-sized bat...


...And I pulled myself up onto Babe Ruth's monument.
(Dad says someday I'm gonna have a monument next to that Baby.)

I noticed lots of horses all over Kentucky and really liked them,

so mom & dad took me to a place called Churchill Downs.


I got to see real horses practice for a big race.


"This Kentucky stuff is pretty cool," I finally confessed to my mom...


But I felt something "cool" was still missing and I started feeling the urge to go back home.

That's when the coolest thing of all happened:


I got to meet my new baby cousin, Caroline Grace.
