Happenings in January

We've had so much fun skiing with the kids this ski season!  Emma Rose is quite the little ski bunny...or kitty; she's game for skiing as long as she can "meow" the whole way down the hill, pretend to be an airplane, or whatever other imaginary game she can play.  I just can't get over how stinkin' cute she is in Porter's hand-me-down ski outfit.  We get stopped all day long over how cute she is.

Porter LOVES skiing.  He wants to go again and again and again.

Here are a couple videos of the kids at Keystone:

Porter has been cracking me up.  He's been asking me if we could go on a running date.  So he got himself dressed one warmer afternoon (one sock short and one sock long) and we decided to go for a run to "Yogurtini."  He ran about 2 blocks and had to stop and said, "My heart really hurts, Mom.  I don't think I can run a race with you if it hurts this much." He sure was cute, though, and ended up switching back and forth from running to biking there and back.

And here he is holding up, proudly, his picture of what he wants to do when he grows up...snowplow!

We were so excited that the Broncos made it to the Superbowl this year.  The morning of the Superbowl, Porter woke up and asked if it was Payton Manning's birthday.  The kids were so excited for our Superbowl party with the cousins.

Even after the horrible loss (see Avery's sad face below) Porter woke up the next morning and insisted on being a Bronco's fan at school...he wore his shirt to school again on Monday.

We'll always love the Broncos!
