May-days, may-days!

May has proven to be a busy and bitter-sweet month.  The kids are growing to be such good friends and playmates.  They're growing up so fast, and they fill our days with laughter, surprises, and tears too.

We spent a lot of rainy May days inside coloring and coming up with inside games.  Singing performances and dance parties filled many of our stormy evenings in May.
Though this video of Emma Rose doesn't really do her elaborate self-written songs justice, it does give a glimpse of Emma Rose's daily singing escapades:

And here is one of my favorite moments watching the kids dance: Emma Rose says to Porter, after the 2nd round of swinging in circles, "Let me put my hand on your muscles!":

The kids have gotten really creative when it comes to indoor fun, including using darts to become makeshift unicorns:

This night lead to tons of laughter!
Staying inside has also led to tons of snuggles!

Finally, the rain seemed to lift by Memorial Day.  My dear friend, Tarrah, and I were fortunate for great weather to run the BolderBoulder!

Of course, May is graduation month.  How cute and sad to watch my baby girl finish her last day of her first year of preschool:

...And how hard to watch my oldest eagerly finish his last day of Kindergarten:

I can't get over how grown up this little man looks!
I also got to have some fun at the end of the month with some incredibly cherished girlfriends:

... Now for summer... Looking forward to an awesome couple months with the kids!
