Sowa Turkey Day in Breckenridge!

We had such a nice Thanksgiving in Breckenridge with Grandma and Grandpa this year.

Emma Rose planned ahead.  She and I had a special "girl craft" day and she made a "Turkeys in Love" poster and hats for all the grown ups the week ahead:

With a slow start of snow this year, we headed to Keystone for our first runs, but had to stop for a picture at the pass:

The kids were so excited to show Grandma and Grandpa their favorite place in Breckenridge:
The lake where they feed the fish!

As soon as we returned home, we began decorating for our first Christmas in the new house.

This is my favorite picture of Emma Rose in a long, long time - she is beat after a long day of skiing, unpacking, and decorating:

We were thrilled to get a surprise call during our last days of the Thanksgiving break from our dear cousins, Bryce and Julia.  The kids got to enjoy a couple fun days with cousins, Kennedy and Jackson Ford!

Let the Christmas season begin!!!
