I can't believe what an independent little lady Emma Rose is becoming.  She went on a little trip to Santa Barbara with me at the start of the year and we got to have some special mom-and-daughter time while Porter and daddy got to have some man-time.

Both kids are just bursting with personality.  Emma Rose is very into all things dress up.

I caught her changing "Gigi's" diaper.

Corey took Porter bowling when I was in Santa Barbara, and it has become one of his favorite new activities, so when we got back, he took Emma Rose and I to show off his new skills.  What really surprised us all was how strong Emma Rose was, carrying and bowling with the 8-pound ball!

Staying home with the kids, Corey has been great about sending me texts of the kids while I work.  The following are courtesy of Corey and the kids:
