Holy Cow! Where did the last 3 months go? I can't believe it's already Spring. We had a great end to Winter months, and an incredible start to Spring.
Emma Rose had a blast creating "Eye heart you" Valentines in February.
And Corey and I were lucky enough to spend a last-minute Valentine's Day in Costa Rica
While we were gone, Porter presented his "Coke and Mentos" science experiment at school!
When we got back, Emma Rose joined me as I took my DECA students to The Broadmoor
(She absolutely loves that place!)
We got to stay in the very front and center room!
Emma Rose found the library and spent hours selecting a book, "Belle" - style.
She settled on a book called, "God Bless America," and spent hours reading famous quotes, blessings, scriptures, and poems about America.
She also fell in love with the "Rose" room.
My students did great! We had two teams take 1st place, and one student was selected as the Colorado State DECA officer for 2019-2020!
When we returned, Emma Rose's artwork made it into the Jefferson County School Art Show!
...And she had a cute performance about moving West...
Before we knew it, Spring and Spring skiing, were upon us!
My sister came out to celebrate my birthday, and we, along with my brothers and Corey, had a blast!
For Spring Break, we took the kids to Alberta, Canada!
We skied in Lake Louise for a couple days...
It was SO beautiful. We also took a day to have lunch at the chateau on Lake Louise, and to walk across the lake. Truly spectacular.
Banff was also a really cool town that we explored.
We also skied Sunshine Mountain for a couple days, celebrating Corey's Birthday.
It was such a beautiful vacation!
Finally, I spent the last few days of my 2-week-long Spring Break with Valor girls, skiing Mary Jane.
And as a perfect ending to the break, Corey had a date night with Emma Rose, and I with Porter.
We love our kids and the special time that vacation brings to us.
Now summer, can you please come quickly?
